**News From the President**

Alumni weekend is just over a month away.  We are hoping for a large turn-out this year, so be sure to get your reservation forms in. 

We have also set up a tour of the new High School.  This will be taking place Alumni Weekend, on June 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.  If you are interested in attending the tour, you can indicate this on your reservation form, or email me to let me know.  This year at the banquet, we will again be raffling off an original painting done by Cattaraugus Alumnus Donna (Barone) Mason, Class of 1962.   

In addition to the Alumni Banquet, there are some individual class reunions taking place.  Below you will find information about the Class of 1957 as well as the Class of 1962 both having festivities the entire weekend. 

A reminder to all seniors and parents of seniors in the CLVS Class of 2012.  Please download an application for the Alumni Scholarship and get them turned into the Guidance Counselor before June 1.  We would love to see a lot of applicants and a large number of Seniors at this year's banquet.  Remember that all seniors get to attend the banquet for free, so we would love to see you there.

Dan Barone – Class of 1978

The Class of 62 is having a 50 year reunion this year to coincide with the Alumni Banquet.  Click on CCS Class of 1962 to visit their Web site and obtain more information.

As a follow up to this Article to that appeared in the New York Times, CBS news aired a story about the Bank of Cattaraugus on Tuesday May 15.  It was really a refreshing story about the bank and there were some nice pictures of the area.  If you missed the broadcast, you can find the story by following this link or go to www.cbsnews.com and search for Cattaraugus Bank.

There was an article yesterday in the Jamestown Post-Journal that talks of some founding families of the Cattaraugus area.  Click here for a great story about four families that settled in Otto in the mid-1800's and whose descendants are Cattaraugus High School Alumni.
